Some Thoughts from Cordi...I have taught art to children in elementary grades for over 20 years and in that time I have come to believe that children learn best when they feel secure about their abilities. Early successes reinforce their confidence to grow and move into more independent modes of expression. In my videos I strive to teach basic concepts to help to learn how to approach any subject while teaching specific areas of interest to the kids. I do this in easy steps with lots of demonstration both from me drawing in front of them and by observation of actual models. We aren't born knowing how to draw, it comes from learning and practice. My DVDs will help with that learning from early simple line drawings to more complicated shading and texture.
