Cordi is not only an art teacher but is also an award winning artist and sculptor. She has public sculpture in front of two libraries and has worked as an artist for over 30 years. When Cordi teaches art, she knows what she is doing, as she has been an 'artist in the schools' for 3 schools in the Leavenworth area for over 20 years. Cordi is on the State roster of Teaching Artists. She has served as an artist in residence and has produced 3 DVDs on drawing with children.

She has been a visiting artist to children in Guatemala, Grenada and Venezuela.

Here’s a way you can bring Art to your school!

We offer a full package to help your elementary school

get excted about the visual arts

1. We start with assemblies to help the kids feel confidence, learn to encourage themselves and others and learn the basic steps of a good drawing. the kids love it! Read what they have had to say about it on the Scool Assembly page.
2. Grade level workshops are available for any number of grades. We are so flexible that you can choose the subject to fit your school mascot, subject of study, animals or birds in your area or you can use one of my DVD subjects. Talk to us. We can teach in many media including dry drawing materials, pastels, paints, clay and more.
3. We offer a Fun and Friendly Art Workshop for teachers. Read about it on the Teacher Workshop page.
4. We leave Easy2Draw DVDs with your school so if your teachers feel insecure or are too busy to create an art unit, want to review the methods or use as a weekly art class they will be in the library!

Two Assemblies (same day) $750

Travel compensation applies for schools over 50 miles from Leavenworth, Wa.

Teacher workshops $45 ea participant for 3 hours (clock hours are $10 extra)

Discounts apply for workshops when a school has an assembly.
