1985-2008  ‘Artist in the Schools’ Leavenworth’s three elementary schools

 

2008   Was commissioned to sculpt a life-sized figure for Leavenworth Restaurant-named ‘Oscar and Fritz’

 

2003-2008  Taught art workshops to children through McDees Art Center

 

2003-2006  Produced and ‘starred’ in 3 video DVDs teaching art to children 8yrs. and up.

These videos feature horses, dinosaurs and reef animals.

 

2005-2008 Taught after school art to children at the Icicle River Middle School

2004  Painted a façade of Children’s art work on the front of Peshastin Elementary

2001 “The Story Teller” Major life size sculpture project for Leavenworth Library Board.

This project included three life size figures cast in aluminum

 

2000  “Sudden Inspiration”  A 6 1/2 foot high aluminum cast sculpture

Later won Community Favorite Award and was purchased by City of Puyallup

 

1996-2008 I have participated in outdoor exhibits of sculpture in Wenatchee, Anacortes, Moses Lake and/or Puyallup.

Currently I have a life sized pony with two children cast in aluminum in Wenatchee’s Art on The Avenue

 

1992-2001 Worked as a sculptor in bronze

 

1986-2002 worked in clay as a sculptor, mostly faces and small figures

 

1987-1994   Developed and ran an art day camp for children7-14 yrs.

 

1970-1999 owned and operated my own business as a festival painter. I also produced a video and booklet on how to paint windows.

 

I have also worked with children on large projects (murals) the first was in Tonasket in the mid 1980s

and included 60 children from 2nd to 7th grades. (book theme)
